<Barjovilla> 1203 seems to be a bit isolated amongst early
forms: Morlet gives in addition <Bergevilla> ca. 1140,
<Bergeinvilla> ca. 1142, <Berjovilla> 1246, and
<Berjouvilla> 1276 and assigns the name to a Gmc.
hypocoristic <Bergo>, which looks quite reasonable.
