No. There is a full movmement underway which seeks to make yoga an "export" from the "west" and an "import" into India. Specifically the claim is Britishers taught Indians gymnastics which Indians rebottled/repackaged as Yogic postures, with funny sounding names, and called them yoga-asana! In the meanwhile west forgot about these gymnastic postures and gave credit to Hindus/Indians for the yoga but now some "smart" scholars are figuring out the truth and setting the record straight.
