When would the muta cum liquida syllabification have been in effect? For ex., does the first syllable of ágHnat- have one or two moras in OInd. meter?
Unless muta cum liquida was in effect at the same stage when laryngeal compensatory lengthening is supposed to have taken place, I don't think the short initial vowel of ágHnat- etc. poses a problem for the analogical lengthening theory.
