Subject: [tied] Latin adjectives -Hro-

What's the etymology of Latin adjectives ra:rus, seve:rus, ama:rus, ava:rus, se:rus, cla:rus, i:gna:rus, ca:rus ?Do they share a common suffix?

Are they formed in the same way du:rus <*druH-ros ?

clarus seems clear, since it's related to class- "those who are called" and supposedly to "call" or gallus "the calling bird" but call, then would have to be a lw
