Nay. This is *dhon-t- (cfr. Latin /fo:ns, fo:nt-/) < PIE *dhen- 'to run,
to flow', with assimilation of the initial dental stop. Possibly from
OEH or some other substrate language.

This is Altaic *najV(rV) 'lake, river'.
