But denominative adjectives employ *-o- rather than *-to-, so it makes
perfect sense to view this *-t- as, genetically, a reflex of the final
element of the stem to which *-o- was added, not part of the suffix.

Clearly derived, including their highly productive derivation from
well-attested verb roots (*g^enh1-es-, *k^lew-es-, *seg^H-es-, *men-es-,
etc., probably also *wet-es- 'year' and *nebH-es- 'cloud'), but there
are also a few more complex types.
