Stay clear of linguistics, oh unfortunate one! It ruins the brain. People can smell it. They won't hire me either.

Actually I sitting on my chair all the time, trying to make sense of the spelling of 40 year old cadaster lists and varying alternative spellings of lunatics claiming zoning law compensation, earning myself the title 'matrikelpave' or "cadaster czar" in the process.
