Such a phoney statement is disproved by your entire career as an Internet writer and poster starting from the late 1990s, as some members of even *this* list could testify.

I don't understand your reluctance and imbarassment in openly admitting you're a Hindutvavadin. Nobody here holds this politco-ideological characterization constitutes an offence or insult _per se_ (as, for instance, is the use of the term "racist" to characterize the intellectual positions of the supporters of the so-called AIT, a dishonest practice you're very much familiar with).

Nothing could be farther from my personal convictions and feelings. I've got scores of friends and acquaintances whose skin is darker than mine (be they Indians, Afro-Americans, or Arabs); some among them are scholars, and I never thought for a moment that their darker skin colour would make them "incapable of serious and objective scolarly pursuits".

The lack of objectivity you refer to, and which prevents you and the rest of your Hindutva politico-ideological fellows from achieving any scholarly pursuits, isn't due to your skin colour but rather to your strict adherence to a religion-based nationalist political ideology.
