Nice argument, since it doesn't apply to me. You may raise similar suspicions against Saxo, but not against self-employed Snorri. What makes me suspicious is the similar structure in the Lestek and Odin stories by authors who almost certainly didn't know each other: early exploits in Anatolia, later large realm in Germany.
