Horrific that there is now even an English version of Vinci's elucubrations!
It is always a duty to fight against stupidity - even if to little avail.
This type of pseudo-scientific theories is also known in our corner of the world - and everywhere.
To mention more Italian examples - wasn't there a scholar some years ago who "proved" Etruscan to be closely related to Sanskrit by putting suitable gaps between the letters of the texts.
