I’m still not clear what you are saying.

There are two distinct roots (according to Pokorny):  *dhabh and *dhembh

The first gives taphos = “amazement”

The second gives taphos = “grave”.

Both show regular processes.

 

Tymbos = “mound” is from *tewh2, with an –m extension (quite common)  The development is regular.
