What is the regular development of this cluster in Latin?
IE ag^tl - > *actl- > ?

^> accl-> a:cl- > -acul- ?
> actl > attl > all > a:l ?

 *spek-tlom > speculum ? (beside spectrum < *-trom)

Then what of Germanic words like OE (Anglian) <ne:þl> "needle",
<boþl> "dwelling", and Lithuanian words like <arklas> "plough"? Don't
these go back to PIE *-tl-?
