Bluntly, you don't know what you're talking about. I
suggest that you take David's advice and read up on
libertarianism. I don't know (or care) precisely which
flavor of libertarianism is his, but *all* of them place a
premium on individual liberty, and *all* of them favor a
minimum of government. All of them also place a very high
value on the notion of private property, and all of them
oppose any sort of welfare state; this alone marks them very
clearly as NON-left, at least as the term is normally used
in the U.S. By the way, libertarianism isn't far-right,
either, though in the U.S. there is some tendency to see it
as distinctly more right than left, and I suspect that a
great many Americans would classify a good many of David's
views as pretty far right.
