The Iranian forms ending in -k, -kV (Middle Persian 'ywky, e_wak,
Parthian 'ywg, e_wag, Bactrian Iota-Omega-Gamma-Omicron, New Persian
yak) are from the suffixed Proto-Iranian form *aiua-ka-.
