It's barely adequate in the first instance and inadequate
once the post has been quoted a time or two.
If you can't bring yourself to use a mail client that isn't
broken, my own preference would be that you manually
simulate the operation of one that works properly. Failing
that, I suggest that you and Arnaud use George's method,
which does a much better job of maintaining identifiability
in quoted and re-quoted posts.
