As a matter of that,
I was wondering if Chinese gui1 "tortoise"
somehow awkwardly reconstructed as *kwr-y
where y stands for dilabialized u
could not be a LW from *ghelu:
Cf. Greek khelo:ne:
I suppose we don't have "tortoise" in Tokharian, do we ?
