The fact that *o and *e: are not coloured by laryngeals is
pretty well established. The non-colouring of *e: was
already demonstrated by Eichner in 1973 on the basis of such
Anatolian data as Hitt. mehur 'time' < *mé:h2-wr., hekur
'summit' < *h2é:k^-wr, sehur 'urine' < *séh2-wr.

This is based on the assumption
that h in Hittite is *only* H2
something I don't believe.
Cf. meH1- in month.
In this root, H1 is supported by Semitic.
The word "demonstrated" seems a bit
over-commital,
This idea about e: is coherent with a limited number
of laryngeals.
I disagree with both ideas.
So I suppose I'm coherent too.
What is Pokorny number for *seh2-wr ?

The explanation of both phenomena as having a single cause
(*o < **a:) is mine.

Who agrees with you ?
Watkins for example ?
