I fail to see what my reconstruction above has to do with 'Laryngeal
Theory', Jurassic version or otherwise.
In my version of the word, there are _no_ laryngeals.
The *a: is naturally long, i.e. comes into PIE already long without the aid
of a 'laryngeal'.

Where is your naturally long a:
in Greek pu:r ?
You're amazing, you know.
Does it mean Greek pu:r is from another root ?
