I mean */h2egWnó-/, realised as *[h2agWnó-]. I prefer "surface-true"
transcriptions of reconstructed forms, since they require fewer
assumptions as to what was and what wasn't phonemic in PIE (which may be
a moot issue even if you analyse a living language, e.g. Modern English).

I understood your list of *a words,
as words having */a/ i.e not /e/ nor /o/
I looked at them this way
