If by -t- of -tý- you mean some kind of suffix (on the synchronic
level), then no. If the last consonant of the root -- why not?
<vartýti> (<vart-ý-ti>) etc.

I was wondering if baidy'-ti
could not be from
boi-?t- > boi-d-
(preglottalized > voiced)
but this idea is apparently
impossible for morphological
reasons
so the -d- is either *-d- or *-dh-
It's not a phonotactic -d- < *?-t
