This makes no sense. Even if Basque and Etruscan are related (and
there's no reason to think that they are) this makes no sense.
==================
Your speculations that
Spec1: Nostratic makes sense
(I disagree it does :
too big and nothing solid)
Spec2 : that Etruscan is a close relative
of PIE or PAA
(I disagree)
are not "naturally" better
than my idea that
Etruscan is autochtonous
AND closely related to Basque.
Prove something BEFORE
you start using that thing
to refute something else.
As far as I concerned,
#t?- is exhibited by PIE and PAA.
I know ZERO case in either
Etruscan or Basque.

The root appears to be alp(H) which is perhaps cognate with *leip (to
desire) if the /i/ was lost to syncope. The semantics are a bit weak
here.
===========
Right On your side
I equate : to give = to give.
Your *leip thing
with extra loss of vowel
plus no semantics at all
is absurd.
Where are you going
with that kind of things ?
My answer : nowhere.
