Prescription only functions in scientific laws or
arbitrary dogma. And even scientific laws are subject
to the rules of falsification. That's not anarchy,
that's science.
I don't know what you're talking about when you bring
up the "sepsis" of anarchy in the US. The only people
in the US pushing anarchy are the libertarians and
other prophets/profits of small government. Do you
have some kind of animosity to Ron Paul?
When I see the way linguistics is done --by you and
everyone else on the list-- I do see a lot of anarchy
in the form of creative and critical thinking. After
discarding what doesn't work, things by and large get
sorted out.
