That the term "sap" (PIE from base *sab) is not exclusively an IE word,
since it is equally found in Classical Arabic as "sab".

Any thoughts?

with a glottal stop that causes -b
in Central PIE.
Now
LAtin is short : should be a:

Arabic sa:b has no glottal stop.

The whole thing is unclear.
