Let us not discuss semantics.

You just now given one more sociological meaning ' high born'

I repeat that I am looking for economic interpretations of the word Arya .

is it connected for eg., with Gold (arum, shining) or A(r)yus, the iron?

The other meanings attributed are Aaraa(shining, arabic),

Btw, some one gave here the meaning mountain man, which smacks of biblical
dogma.

The alleged some one makes you aware that my explanation has nothing to do
with Biblical dogma.

It's a system :
From the root H2_r "mountain"
hence *ar-yo
the mountain people : Taurus people.

Most people around Anatolia are :
- the flat-land people : pala-ite
- the sea-people : Ahhijawa, Yawani
- the mountain people : Ar-ya

The same root gives the word &ar-ab :
from the mountains of Hejaz.

I understand some people may disagree
because it's committal :
Anatolia in that case is the cradle of PIE.

Latin is aurum and Iron is from *eis-on

Yes,
you are abysmally incompetent.
