Given that Mayan culture probably predates Sanskrit,
why don't you claim that Mayans crossed the Pacific to
teach the one true faith to the Indians? Mayan culture
has much of its roots in Olmec --which may go back to
2000 BC. Long before Sanskrit. Mayan goes back at
least to 1000 BC.
