The "anyone" in the email below would, I hoped, be interpreted as "I or anyone else".
 
Because the comparison is so "absurd", I thought _everyone_ would know it was a joke.

Sorry to point this out, but I checked the archives and I found that
it was _you_, not Arnaud, who (unnecessarily) introduced by joke the
supurgillu :: superglue comparison.

Therefore, your remark quoted above is highly misleading. Why do you
attribute that absurd lexical comparison of yours to poor Arnaud?
