That's probably just a derivative with *-(i)kos '-er, -ing'.

MacBain has *ad-reg- 'direct to' which may not be completely right,
but it's probably a compound due to -rr- which makes it unlikely H1
has anything to do with the -ch-.

Irish liag which may be connected to the Greek diminutive la^igx if
from something like *Lew-n,-kos / *Law-n,-kos.

That H1 never remains in Celtic. I wouldn't be so sure, but the
only thing I've mentioned before is that H2 (x) can remain if l,x >
L,x > Lux occurred in Celtic:

*tl,x-tos 'burdened, load' > *tLux-tos OIr lucht; Gk tle:tos 'enduring'

*pl,x-kos '(little) dark' > *xWLux-kas > *hLox-kas > *Lo:-kas > EIr
lo[:]ch; W lwg 'livid'; Lith pilkas 'grey'
