It's also possible that the m>w only occurs if it's
also followed by w. It would be in the opposite
direction but similar to:

* me`rut+ > OL Ma:vort- > L Ma:rs, Ma:rcus but Osc
mamercus

Since Latin has both:

p() > kW / _V/G/C+syl [] kW
kW > p / p() [] _V/G/C+syl

it's possible similar rules with w/m occur in opp.
dir. in the two branches.
