I'd say that o>a after PIE x (H2) but it was usually
restored later. Possibly not in:

*sm,xam 'together, at the same time' > Grk háma; Lat
simul

if there was dissimilation m-m > m-0 in Grk and m-m>w~
> m-L in Lat.

In Italic I think there was also a change of final
o>a after any velar (mostly k and L) among other such
changes:

kWóLó+ ... xagre+px,+kó+ ... tórxó+
kWóLó+ ... xagre+px,+kó+ ... tóxó+
kWóLó+ ... xagre+px,+kó+ ... táxá+
kWóLá+ ... xagre+px,+ká+ ... táxá+

koLa+ .... agrepaka+ ....... ta:+
koLa+ .... agripika+ ....... ta:+
koLa+ .... agripka+ ........ ta:+
koLa+ .... agrippa+ ........ ta:+

-cola .... Agrippa .... Grk -te:+s
