That pó imeni gave me an idea (I assume it meant "by name" and was
thus frequent?). Suppose there was false division *pó_nimeni ->
*pon_imeni -> pó_imeni? Cf pojmú ~ pónjatI, vozImú ~ vzjatI, primú ~
prinjátI etc.
