Yes-no questions in PIE

How were yes-no questions phrased in PIE? Was it based on word-order or
the addition of participles to make the sentance into a question?

For example, how would this be said (approximately) in Proto-Indo-
European:

"Is this house new?"
"Yes, I built it last summer."
"No, your father built it."
