For now, I can say that suffixes may be replaced, like in case of
Mamur-esh, but Alb place name Mamur-as, like: Bishk-as, Dunjas,
Dardhas, Përrenjas et. So, it depends on the fact which model is
predominant in specific time and place, we will find different
suffixes, especially in place names. Let's take other example: Ulc-
ini-on (Greek source), Ulc-ini-um (Latin source), Ulc-issa in
Panonia, Ulc-iana/Ulp-iana in Dardania etc.

If dava is connected with Alb dheu< dhevi <*dhavi 'earth, place,
land, property' I think that Dacian dava could have same meaning, so
I think that better interpretation is 'Land of Giri/Suci,
Argi/Petro/Arci/Pirbori' (cf. as well Gir-ona with Slavic form
Zirona).
