I forgot to point out the crucial fact that when a _suffix_ beginning
with *n is added to a root with a final laryngeal, there is no deletion,
cf. *pl.h1-nó- (Skt. pu:rn.á-, OIr. lán, Lith. pi`lnas), g^r.h2-nó-
(Lat. gra:num, SCr. zr"no, OIr. grán), *h2wl.h1-nah2 (Skt. ú:rn.a:, Lat.
la:na, SCr. vu"na), etc.
