I suppose the question marks mean that you have some problems with the
reconstructed forms. But it isn't clear, given the choice of quoted
forms, what those problems might be. Does Pokorny's material undermine
in any way whote I wrote about the athematic structure of infixed
presents? The laryngeal theory shows that class 9 verbs in Sanskrit
behave exacly like classes 5 (s'r.n.óti < *k^l-ne-u-ti) and 7 (rinákti <
*li-ne-kW-ti), except that the stem-final consonant was a laryngeal that
didn't make it into historical times (puná:ti < *pu-ne-h-ti). If your
unspoken questions are more specific, why not ask rather than imply them?
