Note that the progressive is used to create "statives" out of
semantically punctual verbs (by so to speak temporally
'stretching' the point in time to an interval), which is
why it's not used with semantically stative verbs,
which is why semantically stative verbs might have ended
up as the only ones with the hi-conjugation.
