the u-stem Npl. is simply -k`, but that is probably not a
direct continuation of PIE *-ewes. *-uwes and *-omes are
reflected as -uk` (artasuk` < *drak^ues (*drak^uah2), 2pl.
middle -aruk` < *-dh(u)wes, 1pl. subj. -c`uk` < *-skomes).
