Re: [tied] Etymology of Greek God Dionysus

I came across a claim that Dionysus is a pre-Greek/non-Greek or even
non-IE deity, later adopted into Greek pantheon. I guessed if the word
had pure IE etymology, this can be ruled out. Maybe, the situation is
complex!
Is there any evidence for Dionysus being borrowed by Greek from non-IE
sources?
