I thought this was my idea, but I see that Jens already
mentioned it in "On Hirt's law and laryngeal vocalization"
(1986): "cf. the expected circumflex in structures of the
type *eHRC- which is seen at least in OPruss. a~ustin Asg.
'Maul' from *(h)oh1-us- (..) and the fem. acc. sg. ending
*-ah2m. > Balt. *-aN~, Slav. -oN~".
