That I use "-ing" in order to explain the meaning
developement does not necessarily mean the noun
expressed an on-going action. You missed the point (or
I expressed myself badly - it's not always easy to
express Czech aspects anyway).

c^init = to be doing, in fact.
c^init se = to try hard
pric^init se = to (have) take(n) part in (if you like
then)
zapr^ic^init = to cause (=to have been at it, when it
was being done)
