The genetic timlelines are clearly far too old to be of any direct
relevance to the current accepted theory of invasion cum migration cum
elite movement cum "Aryan tourism" theory of "Indo-European"
languages. So on the one hand...gubble gobble, but on the other IEL
still want to discuss genetic markers such as M17 just in case it-
proves our theory.
I re reproduce the following which clearly states that M17 and his
"father" Ruslan originiated in Souht Asia. I am expecting you to come
up with the Spencer Wells paper about the M17. But please be careful.
Wells thinks Pakistan is in Central Asia!

"Study of the geographical distribution and the diversity of genetic
branches and stems again suggests that Ruslan, along with his son M17,
arose early in South Asia, somewhere near India, and subsequently
spread not only south-east to Australia but also north, directly to
Central Asia, before splitting east and west into Europe and East Asia
(p. 153)." (Oppenheimer, Stephen (2003), "The Real Eve: Modern Man's
Journey out of
Africa," New York: Carroll and Graf Publishers.)"
