Marius************I think that <dej> is probably derived from PAlb <deri> 'till, as far as', for *-ri/*-li/*-ny > Alb. /j/. With homorganic sound /d/ it is attested also in a-ndej 'thither', kë-ndej/këtej 'hither', ma-ndej 'afterwards', andej-këndej 'here and there'. It's hard to be separated from PIE root of demonstrative pronoun *to- . It's worth to be mention that Geg forms are all with reduced form /n/:anej, knej, manej, anej-knej, so words with initial /n/ or /d/ seems to deserve much more attention, as I have proved it in <nehë> and <dejë> 'place where snow is melted', probably from *snoigWh-o.Konushevci
