For Rom. urî 'to hate' we have Alb. urrej 'to hate'.

Both are considered as loans from Latin horre:re 'to be afraid, to be
astonished'
For the Romanian word, DEX considers in addition an intermediary
reconstructed Latin form *horrire (< horre:re)
