By the way, what's Slavic *c^uti doing here? The PIE preform of <hear>
and <akoúo:> was a denominative verb, probably *h2k^-h2ous-jé/ó- '(be)
keen (of) ear', unrelated to *(s)keuh1- (and its derivative
*(s)kow-éje/o-), pace Pokorny and whoever follows him (including the EIEC).
