*wo:lpa/i- is the PIE word for 'fox'? I suppose you need the *o: to
explain the <e>, since there's no other evidence for a long vowel at
this point. <dhelpër, dhelbun-> is so obscure that it could be almost
anything, e.g. *g^HolbHino- 'yellowish' (cf. Lat. galbinus).

_More_ than obvious? It's far less than obvious to me that these words
are related at all.
