Another theory says that one of the conjugations was originally for
intransitive verbs, and another for transitives - or is this the same
theory?
Further that the two conjugations originated in an ergative enclitic
pronoun set, an the other in a nominative one.
I do not remember which was the one or the other.
However, the meaning of the perfect seem to be most in accordance with
the tag "intransitive".
Has there been done any statistical analysis on the Hettite verbs to
find the number of transitive and intransitive verbs in the two
conjugations?
