Hello David,
Your argument is not a valid one.
Everybody has on his back 'an ideology'. Yourself above assertion
shows your own ideology.
I read carefully the .pdf that Mr. Kelkar indicate us and there
are inside a lot of valid points against some current timeframes of
Sankrit (and not only regarding Sanskrit) that 'everybody' consider
today as 'facts' and not as 'deductions' (without to analyse theyself
this very closer)
So "Indian Nationalist point of view" or "Western-European liberalo-
internationalist point of view" doesn't matter here....
The only thing that count is the quality of the arguments that are
posted. So please read first the .pdf indicated by Mister Kelkar.
Take 2-3 assertions from this .pdf regarding some Sankrit roots
(see as example the discussion around the family of words related
to 'daughter' or the timeframe of r. etc...)
If you think that are wrong please 'destroy' them with your valid
arguments...
But to "invoke" the "ideology" of the other one as "an argument"
that his "assertions are false" is a very very bad thing....
ONLY if his arguments on the table are poor ones or there are not
at all...ONLY then you can "invoke" that what he said "is pure ideology"
But this is still not the case regarding Mr. Kelkar because I don't
see here a lot of opposite answers on the arguments posted in that .pdf
file....
So even his point of view is an "extreme point" (because he put in
question 'all the IE current system') the discussion have sense until
there are 'doubts' at least regarding only a single point raised by Mr.
Kelkar.
Best Regards,
Marius Alexandru
