*****GK: I noticed that the original scan of the
second reference page ("Scythia 12") was a bit blurry,
so I've deleted it and uploaded a better version,
though you probably could have guessed what much of
this was anyway. I don't know if Stryzhak is still
alive and active. The last item of his I'm aware of
(though I haven't read it) is a 223-page 1991 study of
"Ptolemy's 'Sarmatia', which is all I've been able to
find on line under "O.S. Stryzak"."
