I recall from history class way back that the Dithmarschers in the
battle of Mehldorf agaist the Danish king Hans and his German
mercenary guard is supposed to have shouted (in platt): War di, gar!
Hier komt de Bur! or the like. Danish 'tage vare på' (loan?) "take
care of".
