Along with Chlodowech, Chlodwig (-ig in these
Frankish dialects as well as in other dialects,
except South German ones such as Bavarian and
Suebian, is pronounced as though it were written
-ich: Chlodwich, Ludwich / Zuch, Fluchzeuch,
möchlich, genuch/jenuch, zwanzich, dreissich,
vierzich, fünfzich...)

Indeed, this is the most frequent and popular
variant (typical for the southern regions of
the "Reich", incl. Austria). But there are also
Ludewig and Chlodwig (cf. the writer Chlodwig
Poth, from the land Hesse, if I ain't wrong).
