Analogy (-ant>-a`nt and -arx>-a`rx to match other
plural infl).

X>0/C_$

C>0/VC_CV (in many C-clusters)
> >
> > So, txa`>xa`

t/d/dh all >t/_s

t>s/_s

s>0/C+continuant_ (leaves mora)
(f, s, xj, x, xv, m, n, nj, mv, l, r)

unattached mora>0 after syl with unmarked tone

unattached mora moves to previous syl (if possible),
lengthening vowel

This explains fem in -(a)x with no -s, all n-stems,
t-stems, etc.

s-aorists ending in sounds causing this lengthening
(when last syl of stem marked)

bha`ndh(x)s->bha:`ns

analogy causes this in all s-aorists
